After seven years of distributing movies with Cinewax, and a sound experience in streaming, I decided to start producing with a vision of creating a story that could reach a global audience. With "Black Caesar's Revenge," we aim to captivate the Black anime audience and the worldwide diaspora seeking authentic storytelling and Black heroes.
Challenge: Without prior marketing experience, starting with no budget, we needed innovative strategies to connect with producers. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, we secured our first U.S. co-producer, Louverture Films—a company co-founded by Academy Award winner Danny Glover.

Much has happened since the inception of the idea in January 2022. We began as an audio series and evolved into an anime series. I've learned to navigate the world of production from scratch, drawing on my years of networking and observation at Cinewax.
